On Saturday & Sunday, 30th & 31st May, the Zone Six Pennant play offs will be conducted in the Manning District. There will be three Finals on the Saturday and Four Round Robins commencing on Saturday morning.
At Sporties Tuncurry Bowling Club, the Finals of the No.1 & No.2 Pennants will be played on Saturday, commencing at Noon. At Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club, the No.4 Grade Final will commence at Noon; the Round Robins for the No. 3 & 7 Grades will commence on Saturday morning. At Forster Bowling Club, the Round Robins for Grades 5 & 6 will commence on Saturday morning. All Round Robins start at 9.00 am on Saturday.
The Draws see Tuncurry Beach playing Kurri Kurri in the Ones; Tuncurry Beach playing East Maitland in the Twos; Sporties play East Maitland & Denman in the Threes; Sporties play Greta Workers in the Fours; Black Head play East Maitland & Scone RSL in the Fives; Taree Leagues play Kurri Kurri & Murrurundi in the Sixes; Forster play East Maitland & Merriwa in the Sevens.
This year, the teams from the Upper Hunter District have the bye in the Round Robins.
The three District Clubs invite interested spectators to their Clubs’ , to witness bowls at a higher level. The Zone winners will progress to the State Pennant play offs at designated NSW Clubs over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The District wishes our Clubs and players’ every success in their matches.
