The week 6 Zone Pennant results have been uploaded into the web site and, after 6 weeks, there now appears to be a couple of clear leaders with other Grades/Sections too close to call.
One Section has three of the four Sides equal on points and two other grades have Sides within three points of each other. They say a week in politics is a long time; well, two weeks in Pennant competition is just as long.
Club selectors will be looking at the progressive score-line, endeavouring to come to terms with certain results and how they may arrest detrimental progress. It is quite possible that decisions made months ago are having an effect; nevertheless, there are still games to be played and points earned. Good luck to all!
The No.1 Pennant Grade Competition in the Northern Conference – Sections 5 & 6 Combined – has also reached an interesting stage, with three Clubs within 5 points of each other, with only a few games to go before the play off. The current ladder is illustrated in the Bowls NSW web site.
