The Week 7 Zone Pennant Results have been downloaded into the Pennant results section of the web site, with the odd surprise and non-surprise.
I will not go into detail; however, a couple of the Grades/Sections continue to indicate that they will go down to the wire after the home/away games are completed, with margins possibly playing a huge part in determining the ultimate winners. In other areas, some results look a bit lop-sided; however, with up to three rounds to go, anything can happen.
In Grade 1, after this weekend’s games, it appears that the same three Clubs are within a few points of each other and unplayed games & byes may play an important part in determining who the top two Sides will be, for the Play Off for the ticket to the State Pennant Finals.
Our Tuncurry Beach is very much in the hunt, with our other Clubs – Taree West & Forster – doing themselves and their Clubs proud – experience gained at this rarefied level will stand them on good stead.
