The MDBA pennant winning teams will head of to the Hunter today and tomorrow to compete in the Zone 6 play offs to see who represent the zone at the up coming state playoffs in August. The District wishes all players and clubs the best of luck, and lest bring home the “bacon”. The games are as follows:
At East Maitland B.C:-
Grade 1, Tuncurry V’s Kurri Kurri, Grade 2, Wingham V’s Maitland City, These two games are one off games and will commence at 12noon. The other grade at east Maitland is Grade 4. This sees Old Bar against Scone starting at 9am. The loser of this game plays Paxton in the afternoon.
At Maitland City B.C. :-
Grade 3, Tuncurry V’s Denmen, the Loser to play Lorn Park. Grade 5, Wingham V’s Denman, the loser to play Greta Workers, Grade 6,Taree West V’s Murrurundi, the loser to play Adermain, and Grade 7, Blackhead V’s Merriwa, the loser to play East Maitland. All these games are a three game round robin with Games starting at 9am Saturday Morning. Once again the District wishes them all the best.
