The Rounds of the State (Open), President’s Reserve and Senior Pairs Championships, produced interesting results, particularly in the State Pairs Championship. The results of all of the games can be accessed in the appropriate web site pages.
Suffice to say that one Club’s surviving entries in the State were dramatically reduced after Round 3; two Harrington teams played each other in the Quarter Final, while two Forster teams are to meet in one of the State Semi Finals. Excellent bowls should be the order of the day, no matter which Club spectators attend.
The Semi Finals and Finals of the three Championships will be played next Sunday, 5th June, at their current venues – Forster, Tuncurry Beach & Taree Leagues BCs’. The Zone wishes all players’ the very best of luck in their games.
