Congratulations to Taree Railway Grade 6 pennant side who have won the State Pennant final 65-59 against Kempsey MacLeay RSL. Wins on two of the three rinks was enough to earn them the title of “State Champions”.
Congratulations also to Railway’s Grade 7 side who were defeated by Woy Woy in the final by a mere 4 shots and Gloucester in Grade 4 who won their section but were defeated in the semi-final..
All other grades were unsuccessful in progressing to the semi-final.
Grade 2: Tuncurry Beach won their first two games but lost the third.
Grade 3: Taree Leagues had a draw with two rink wins and a narrow 2 shot win but again lost out in the third game.
Grade 5: Tuncurry Beach lost their first two games and did not progress.
