After the false start the weekend before, the MDBA Pennants got underway with round 2 on Saturday and round 2 on Sunday. Both days play though out some interesting results, already making for some wide open chances. The best preformed club for the weekend being none other then the little country club of Wingham winning all of their 5 games (3 Saturday & 2 Sunday), from the two rounds. For those interested the results are listed below.
Also played in the last week where the washed out MDBA fours semi finals. The first was played on Wednesday night between two Tuncurry Beach Teams, Heath McGuire and Barry Duffy. Heath and his team were the winners on this occasion. The other semi final played on Friday night saw Forster team led by Tim Farrell up against Steve Harris’ side from Tuncurry. In what was a tight match Harris scored a two on the last end to win by a shot. The final will be played at 5pm on Wednesday 12th of March at Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club.
