This match was a battle between the two Forster teams of Erin Smith & Kevin Robinson against Peter Schroeder & Steve Pell.
A trio of 1’s saw Kevin jump to a 3-0 lead, but things tightened up after that and after 8 ends scores were level at 8-8. Over the next 7 ends Peter & Steve started to exert some dominance, scoring 9 shots to 4, and after 15 ends the score was 14-9 in their favour. Erin and Kevin tried to reduce the margin with a 2 and a 1, but also dropped a couple of 1’s in the process and still trailed by 4 shots at 16-12. The final nail in the coffin was Peter and Steve scoring a 3 to extend the lead to 7 shots at 19-12, and secure the match.
