Our Representative in the NSW Rookies Singles, Stephen Phillips of Taree Leagues, had the misfortune of having the eventual NSW winner in his Section and met him in the first round. While Stephen was unsuccessful in this match, he won his remaining games and came second in the Section.
The District congratulates Stephen on his efforts in all phases of this competition. While a State title is great, being the Zone Champion is an achievement not to be discounted.
